Letterpress calendar 2021_3

My final piece for Fabien Barral's 2021 letterpress calendar - 10th edition.

Really pleased at how this turned out overall and will definitely be fleshing out these letterforms between jobs to make this into a full typeface soon with plenty of alternative ligatures and styles.

I initially thought this was a quote from Aristotle but turns out it was from an author writing about Aristotle but the substance of the quote resonated with me and it's so true especially when it comes to creative pursuits.
