If any project I have taken on showcases my versatility, especially as an illustrator, I think this is it. The book itself is kind of passion project of the author, an enthusiast of Chicago architecture. The goal was to create a product that told the story of Chicago with a focus on the history of the city as well as drawing attention to the city architecture. The name Chicagoua refers to the the onions that grew up around what is now the Chicago River. The client wants to market the product specifically to folks that take Chicago's architectural tours.
