Toronto Zoo

The briefing was: "In honour of Canada's 150th birthday, how can the Toronto Zoo encourage people to come to the zoo to promote Canadian animals?"

While brainstorming for this project, we talked a lot about Canada's diversity and our immigration policies. My partner and I decided: "well, if they're living at the Toronto Zoo...technically they are ALL Canadian animals, right?"

Our campaign for "Canadian by nature." was born.

Although we did not win at the National Advertising Challenge, the Toronto Zoo loved our idea so much they printed a half page ad in the 2017 Canada Day Edition of The Toronto Star and posted our ad across all their social media platforms garnering over 1,000 likes
