Map Information Panel

While conducting user tests for a travel project we learned that a lot of users booking travel tickets not only have the application open, but also a browser window they use for more information on their departing and/or arrival station. This is can certainly be a pain when trying to book tickets on smaller screen devices. Why not make that information more accessible to user during their booking process?
