Maddox to English Dictionary: Eat with your Fangers

This is the first spread of a quick humorous piece I got to design as part of a surprise gift to a well-loved client of ours. He's a very interesting and rather strange character; hard to understand at times because he uses a lot of Texan sayings no one has ever heard before. He hates technology and is very old fashioned. We made a dictionary of all the weird things he says as a supplement to a larger gift we call the "Maddox Survival Kit".

The Maddox Survival Kit is fully equipped with every possible inside joke including a can of corn, an adult bib, a pack of stickie notes dressed up as composition books, a roll of tide pens, a bumper sticker for his truck "Big Gray", A $100 Giftcard for gas, some brand-spankin' new Bad@$$ MFer business cards in a bullet case business card holder purchased from Etsy, a certificate suitable for framing for having achieved the highest level of Evil and of course, the Maddox to English dictionary, all neatly packaged into a children's spy kit briefcase. I really hope he liked it hahaha.

Its nice when you have clients that you actually like enough to make something awesome for. I've never even met him before but I know I love him. Probably one of the coolest pieces I got to work on this year thus far and we did it in like 4 or 5 days.
