Fleur Logotype

Logotype experiment with one of my favorite all time fonts Grand Hotel. Seems simple but this composition is not a standard output, had to create outlines for a lot of various glyphs and merge/cut/re-size things to shift them into place. Especially the F, which doesn't even exist in this state with the actual font, it was crafted from components of various letters, lowercase and upper. Let me know what you think about it! I know we've all succumbed to the world of flat and hard lines, but i still think there's something super elegant about a super mild gradient that almost doesn't even register on first glance.
