Silversun Pickups MLS All Star concert poster closeup

Tight shot of a poster I did to promote/commemorate the Silversun Pickups show the night before MLS All-Star Game 2013 in Kansas City. The show was a free show at Kansas City Power & Light District that drew more than 10,000 attendees.

Matte finish print with metallic silver ink and spot gloss varnish for the star made of repeating "Silversun Pickups" text. Background image is a street art mural near KC's famous blues & jazz district of famous Kansas City musicians.

Project was interesting because the direction given was to incorporate the necessary sponsor elements, maintain some MLS All-Star branding (fonts, etc.), and still put together a cool/creative finished product.
