Zoo in an alternate reality

Everyday I walk around the Osaka zoo with my dog and we see and hear all these animals. They have so little space to wander, and a lot of them are kept in cage with painted jungle murals as their only source of nature.
It’s so heartbreaking so I decided to change my perspective: they are not in the zoo, we are! And it’s our way of protecting them from us. It makes me feel better for a bit but things really need to change don’t they? 🦒 🐆 🐧 🐊
