Yo, guys! Check out how the Purrweb team designed a game app for playing with friends! 🤘🏻

It’s a card game for a group of friends. One of the players creates a lobby and gets a sharable link that can be sent to other participants (plus, there is another way to join the lobby — via AirDrop).

👾Once the lobby is gathered, the game starts. One of the players is randomly appointed to be a host. The host sees many question cards and chooses one by one to be seen by other players. The players see a chosen question and possible answers. They have limited time to make a choice while the host decides which option is the funniest — the person who chooses it gets points. After all the question cards were answered, the one who earned the most points wins.

📲On the shot, you can see two screens. The left one is the onboarding, the right one is the main menu that users see when they first open the app (it’s where they start a game, join a lobby, or read various jokes).

🎨 It’s not the ‘dark theme’ of the app: the interface is designed to be dark — as it was desired by the client. Dark humor requires a dark solution!
The question cards and possible answers combine to funny jokes. They say try not to laugh, yeah?
