Person Map Pin Microinteraction

I am currently working on a personal project of an app that lets you search for roommates to share a place with. I am thinking of various ways to unclutter the potential map view when lot of pin elements may be present. Hence, I thought of creating a microinteraction that reveals more information on the user when it is active. In it's default state, it would only show the general person pin.
