I've been working away at my personal website and have been learning a ton. Up until now my front-end development skills have always been a little fast and loose. And that's not to say that there is anything wrong with that approach. For if it wasn't for this style I would have never learned as much as I have about HTML/CSS.
It's widened my view and appreciation for web design. To any designer who finds discomfort in coding, I'd strongly recommend you give it a hearty go. The reward is in the details.
I'm building this on Anchor, using a healthy combination of Hammer, Sublime Text 3, Sketch and Git — all of which I am still learning about everyday.
