Logo design for a young adult ministry in Columbus, IN. Their previous logo was black and white, static, and horizontal. In refreshing their image, I allowed the numbers to flow together and create a more abstract, singular image beyond just text.

I used a "Tekhelet" blue, the same aqua blue referenced in the Bible to ground the image in its faith community and give a cool sense of calm and relaxation for a gathering place for young adults.

The circle in the "5" also extends beyond the rest of the emblem, breaking the visual 2-dimensional limitations, as well as creating a simple speech bubble to signify the importance of communication and fellowship in the group.

The logo operates on several levels of use, as both a detailed logo for print and large scale mediums like posters and screen printed apparel as well as an icon for smaller media and apparel use, such as stickers and embroidered badges.
