Her (2013)

Finally posting another artwork after the longest time!

Her (2013) directed by Spike Jonze, starring Oscar actor Joaquin Phoenix, is a personal favorite of mine. The way the movie captures relationships, intimacy, and even loneliness through a dialogue-driven screenplay leaves you looking inside the complexities of human interactions. However, not only does this movie have a strong and insightful script, but it also boasts of beautiful scoring by Arcade Fire and powerful visuals. Hand-in-hand, the soundtrack and cinematography of the films perfectly captures the emotions of the scenes: with or without dialogue.

My original version of the artwork has a moving background + scoring from the movie. Buuuut I don't have a premium on Dribbble so a static image will have to do. 😅What did you think of the movie Her? Admittedly, the concept of the film can get a bit uncomfortable to watch. But I think it's a good film to watch when you're feeling lonely or even heartbroken - you might appreciate the movie more 💔😱Feelings aside, I had a really fun time illustrating this! I felt it take me back to what I felt the first time when I watched the movie years back.

Will be posting the moving artwork on instagram. Give me a follow if you're into figma...and films!
