Looking forward to swinging by the newsstand tomorrow
Love the style bro! what is each icon representing?
@Luke Cheers bud!

@Michael Spitz nice! i didn't immediately get all of them, but i guess when coupled with text it becomes obvious. Love how different they are tho
Very interesting approach to the icon design, I really like how three-dimensional they look. Just wondering if the last one, for Nightlife, doesn't stick out a bit with its linear form?
Lovely! Love the depth.
Noticed these when I was reading the last issue and I was wondering if they were new. Giving shadow to the lights gives them the feeling as if they are made of something with weight like paper - I like it! The glasses feel quite different from the others to me - is there a reason for the departure?
Awesome as always!

A quick update / new addition to the series of spot illustrations that I designed for The New Yorker back in January.
Always enjoy knocking out a good ampersand.

Hey Michael! It's been ages, I hope you're doing well (and don't miss Croatia too much). Was just reading a recent New Yorker yesterday and was thrilled to be able to point out I knew the guy who made these! Love the theatre one especially. Anyway, looking forward to catching up soon! Take care.

@Claire Great to hear from you!! Again, it's been far too long! Hope all is well!
Missing the HR a bunch...but I'll be back on the beach in July!
Glad to hear you dig the illustrations, and thanks for the under cover promotion! Looking forward to seeing you around again!
