    This simple UIX change is a huge driver of the Lyft business as a whole!

    Its hard to believe now but before I fixed it the Lyft Mode Selector did not have a clear mechanism to tell riders their promos were being actively applied or what the total savings were. I worked through 100s of iterations exploring how to fit this status feedback mechanism into this already crowded Mode Selector.

    In the end I arrived at this 'Minty' banner and discount tag which are both glanceable and will scale well into the future to support any Mode Selector redesigns
