I'm currently working on a iOS 7 app and now it's the time to implement some feedback mechanism to tell the user what's happening. After a long search on open-source alert view controls I've decided to create one all by myself because I couldn't find anything that looks good for this app.
After 10 versions I've came up with these two because I can't decide which one is better.
My question for you is: Is full screen alert modals a bad thing (from UX perspective)?
Right here, before I show the alert, I animate the background using Gaussian Blur from 0 to 50px and I'm also fading it out, so the user is aware of the context (if this is the problem with the full screen alert modals).
