Our team decided to kick off 2014 by creating an engaging self promotion connecting the print and digital worlds that we work within daily.
The postcard is a parody of “large letter” postcards sent as vacation souvenirs. Playful typography and graphics were drawn using vintage postcards as reference - complete with hand-tinted photographs and custom lettering. The postcard presents Versett as a real city that humorously connects to different aspects of our company. Web addresses in the text on the card link to functioning sites created to back up history of Versett, further suspending disbelief and combining digital with print media in an interactive experience.
