I had this idea a while ago of making the menu bar link to dropbox more of a place to manage your file updates. Giving you the ability to prioritise updates. e.g. You're in a hurry to share a particular file with a client or you need something updated first so you can work on it when you get home.

Draggable menu items are such a great and highly unused UI asset!

Very neat, but I can't help but want to see a version with the 'draggable' icon centre aligned with the settings icon?

Sounds like a neat little update for Dropbox. They should consider an implementation ;)

That's a great idea. Would be nice too to be able to pause specific downloads so you could hold off for the time being just incase you were working on a large file over and over and didn't want it to keep trying to upload it to the server till you were finally done with the file. Help keep the bandwidth lag down.

Also agree with Jake about making the icon center aligned with the setting icon. Kudos

I'd love this. I’d also love it if Dropbox used your upload speed setting unless you reordered an item to the top — it would then upload as fast as possible.

Might email the idea through. Not sure what the guys at dropbox are working on in the background.
