Fortunate to have another go at @MadeByShape Shape Christmas again this year.
Loads of fun with this one. I'll upload some alternate shots as there is a lot more going on than meets the eye — at one point there was a night/day cycle. Then I realised it was to be delivered in gif format!
Even better this year as they are supporting Wood Street Mission that helps with families around Christmas and the rest of the year.
One last thing — check the x2 version for some of the smaller deats! :)

I can’t stop staring at it. I agree with @Arno, this is sooo nice! :)
Dude this rocks!
@Damian Kidd Literally! :)
@Thorsten Beeck @Arno Kathollnig Thanks guys!
Wow I LOVE this! I want to travel in that world this Christmas!!
I could watch this all day, amazing!
@Cindy Suen Thanks Cindy, I'll get some alternate shots up for you to explore!
@Carrie Haworth Thank you! :)
This is sooooooooooo cool
Very cool! But, where is the snow?
Love the train at the bottom!
@Christopher LaRose Had massive peoblems with the rendering, snow had to take the chop I'm afraid!
@Luboš Volkov That was my favourite bit to make also!
@Luboš Volkov @Sunako Thanks! :)
This is great!! But I can't find the snow...why not 'cityglobe'? ;)
@German Leon Thanks!
For the medium it was going out in I'm afraid the snow had to be cut! Gif would of turned it into a big old ball of mess!
Might do some edits into a motion video piece though — then the snow can come back to claim it's place! :)
Hahaha, yeah, maybe just some very small and semi-transparent flakes to give more the feeling of winter and that's all ;)
Dude. This is mesmerizing. I clicked 2x and just stared at this thing for several minutes.
Amazing , very inspiring !
