Continuing to play with geometry and shape repetition, hopefully narrowing down the ideas for my submission to Font Aid VII — a collaborative project that will raise funds for Philippine Red Cross relief efforts after the events of Typhoon Haiyan. The goal is to create a typeface consisting of images based on the eight-rayed sun from the Philippine flag.
If you’re interested in participating, check out the submission guidelines. The deadline is December 1st, 2013.

Here is my final submission for Font Aid VII — a repetitive, modified pixel pattern that loosely mimics the eight-rayed sun motif of the Philippine flag.
