Any guesses what HATEFUL stock photo has kept me up until 5AM? After much color burning and hue tweaking, I think I've found the key to success. Or I'm just too tired to care.

Whoops, meant to link to this. Dan and Rich: can we eventually be allowed to edit comments? Because I fail at thinking twice before hitting Post.

Success! I think you've done well incorporating the key to success. The stock photo isn't bad either :)

    Editing comments: definitely!

And since this shot is a followup to a past one, it has me thinking about ways to set relationships with previous shots (seeing a progression, or even Layer Tennis-esque handoffs). Hmm...

@simplebits: Progression links would be great, maybe just update the image, and mark it as new, showing the latest image on top and thumbs of the previous iterations beneath it...

@owltastic: You turned a boring stock photo into something beautiful. Really like the style!

If you don't like a stock photo, lower the opacity until it's palatable. Well handled.

Really awesome outcome from a really tough situation.

My only complaint is why do I never think of doing cool stuff like this when it happens to me?
