I decided to spend a bit of time over the weekend coding this design I did for a dog kennels a few months back. It may still need a few fixes here and there but check it out and it would be great to get some feedback. http://oaklands.robsimpson.me/

I love the script font, and orange color, it just feels really warm and the brand.

@Nelson Noa thank you, as soon as I took the project I knew the direction I wanted to go in, if only all projects were like that :(

Love the look and the colors! I was expecting the nav menu to be visible by default on my desktop, though. Maybe have that open on large screens, and close it for mobile?

@Anna Funk thanks :) the menu is open on desktops but it gets closed for resolutions below 1280 I guess it would be worth reducing it, only did a weekends work on it so probably worth looking at that again some other time :)

ahhhhhh, there it is! I have kind of big monitors, and don't like keeping my browsers maximized, so my resolution tends to hover just above 1024px wide-- which is still a common screen width.

Oooh, and I opened it in Firefox this time (last time, I was using Chrome). It's really wonky. There is a vertical scroll bar on the navigation, and a horizontal scroll on the entire page. The content area is higher in the z-space than the nav bar, so if you scroll horizontally, it covers the nav.

@Anna Funk thanks for all the feedback I will look at fixing these things when I get some time :) I haven't got round to cross browser testing yet but I knew there would be problems with it in older versions of FF, what version are you using btw?

I'm going to guess it was 25.0.1 when I looked at it. I just updated to 26 today.
