Switch Icons

I grew up playing Nintendo systems. I've joked they were my childhood. A few years ago, I had lost touch with the world of video games and kinda thought I was done with them. But when my wife and I got married in 2017, one of the first things we bought as a couple was a Nintendo Switch. I love that we made fun a priority and can enjoy games together. Since then my love of gaming has been rekindled and I've been inspired by multiple games.

I've seen a lot of cool designs inspired by the Nintendo Switch, but I'm surprised I haven't seen this take on it. I always wanted to see the offset controllers at an angle like this so that the form suggests the shape of an S.

I'm not making any claims these are an improvement over the official logo. I understand why they made it the way they did — it's compact, versatile, and reflects the way you interact with it. It also has some sneaky optical corrections so it feels like two even halves though one side is an outline and the other is filled.
