I wrote a tutorial on the GoMediaZine that details my quest to obtain a VSCO Cam like treatment using Photoshop.
Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Very nice write up, great results. Thanks for sharing!
Am I the only person that doesn't like the VSCO Cam look?
@Dave Cooper Nope, I'm not a fan either. A lot of contrast is destroyed amongst other things.
Great write up to get this effect though.
@Liam McKay Thanks!
@Dave Cooper @Sean Dockery Ha, I (sadly?) am currently a sucker for it.
@Seeger Mattijs Ha, I didn't take the original picture.
my only thought is that vsco has way more to it than the "fade". i love vsco for many features, not just the fact that it can fade all my pictures.
BUT. i do understand. vsco has become infamous for that feature. so i'm not sure my comment holds any merit. and for that i apologize.
@Corey Meyers Hey Corey, I do agree. But to be honest, I didn't have much time to tinker with emulating a specific film more. I think that'll will come later.
Thanks once again for sharing this great tutorial @Simon H. !
