Ravelry Rebrand - Logo Application

One of our motivations for rebranding was the difficulty of reproducing the old logo in different contexts. By creating a simpler typographic mark and a robust brand system of illustrations, patterns, and icons, we’re able to be much more flexible (and fun!) with how we visually represent ourselves, while still maintaining a recognizable identity.

We’re especially excited about this new flexibility because we love partnering with visual artists from our community to create artwork and merch for our users. Above are examples of our logo locked up with patterns, illustrations, photography, and animation.
