I couldn't miss an opportunity to speak out and use the skillset I have to educate people about Neuroendocrine Cancer. It's a very rare form of cancer that I was diagnosed with earlier this year. It's symbolized by the zebra, because of how often its symptoms are misdiagnosed... as they say, "When you hear hoofbeats, you usually think horses"... Despite my diagnosis, I continue to stay strong... as a matter of fact, it's made me appreciate and value life so much more! From once cancer survivor to a future survivor: stay strong, stay optimistic, and live every day to the fullest!
Thanks for kicking us off @Kristopher Bazen ! I'm reading up on Neuroendocrine Cancer now, will be keeping you in my prayers. Let's keep in touch and let me know how you are doing!
@Kristopher that is rad!! The work not the cancer. Prayers up brotha! Keep us posted please.
Great design and great message. The church family and I will be keeping you in our prayers bro. 2 Timothy 1:7
Excellent work and stay strong!
Thank you guys so much for the kind words. I just wanted to take the opportunity to enlighten people, and to also let them know that you can stand strong in the face of adversity.
Even more profound than just how strong this design works in black and white--and with bricks!--is how strong a message this conveys. And just from me knowing you how I do, no doubt it evokes, in a word, YOU, KB.
Stay strong, and as we say in the Black & Chrome world, "keep it pushing" kinfolk!
Quick update, everyone...
As of 7:30 this morning, there are no visible signs of cancer in my body!
You are the freaking man! True inspiration dude.

@Kristopher Bazen I had a close family friend who recently was diagnosed with the same! Was going doing this project with this type of cancer in mind as well.
AWESOME AND INSPIRING
Thanks @Lindsay ! Sharing my story has taken such a huge weight off my shoulders, and the cancer itself has given me a new outlook on life... well wishes to your friend!
@Kristopher Bazen major respect!! Own that shit and then kick it's ass!
