After a long hiatus (long story...that will probably be explained sooner or later) I've finally started on some good work for the new Beyond Ink website. After several attempts, I'm finally feeling like I'm making some headway with this now. A new look, compared to the current holding page.

So...Beyond Ink, Episode 1? Coming very soon! :)

Looking good, Rachel! It might just be my eyes, and without a sense of scale it’s hard to judge, but there’s a lot of bold text on the screen. My general rule of thumb; as text size increases, text weight decreases. I’m excited for this to land!

@Daniel Eden - It's changed slightly since I posted this last night, but I understand what you mean with the text. It didn't feel quite right when it was a lighter weight, particularly with the main name titles - but I'll work through it and have a good look. Thanks :)

@Jonic Linley - Yep! Various things have slowed me down with it but finally getting on with it properly. :)

Some nice subtleties going on - interesting all caps on the nav. Laura's image has some of the site colour's in - how about adding a tinge into Simon's image?
