I used ALL the PENS. There is also a short, 3 part video with Glass to go with this, you can see it on my You Tube page here.

That guy looks like you don't want to mess with him. :D I really dig the colors. You should use strong colors more often.
@Thorsten Beeck thanks! I have this pile of new pens and markers, and I've been using ALL of them in EVERY drawing, lol!
... I love this little Octopus – sooo beautiful!
this is FANTASTIC! those colors :)
Really great, Virginia!
This is sweet. So clean!
Saw your twitter posts and was wondering if there was going to be a Google Glass video ;)
@Haley Elder there are videos up :) they are here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuwrp9IgCjUH6obMmSXchBg/videos
Splendid stuff Virginia. Really like the tension on the drips, the stroke widths on them are perfect! Really feeling the shadow too. Very cool.
@Kyle Gillen thank you, Kyle!
@Virginia I just noticed that you mention in the first video that you were going to paint in some flowers into the background using gouache.....guess you changed your mind! Haha. Love how it turned out!
@Aviva Buivid (Maltin) You are totally right! It took on a life of it's own quickly, lol. It happens! That's funny you noticed that ;)
so fresh! love the shadow to make him pop off the page.
@Andrew Sterlachini that part was fun :) thanks!
It looks really, really good!
love it. what brand of pens do you use?
@dojo4 Copic markers, derwent drawing pencils, ball point pens, micron pens, Faber - castell pens, Sakura jelly roll pen...I don't know - ALOT, I just tried to use all the pens, lol.
One of your best! The boldness, shadows, the effective drips...badass V!
Watching the videos and it's ridiculous how talented you are! I've always had a fondness for well designed octopus related things, whether it's illustration or crafts, and this is seriously so amazing to watch you do it. If I wasn't such a coward, I would definitely get this as a tattoo, but would fear that the artist wouldn't be able to translate it perfectly!
