Season 2 of the Overtime podcast is here! Listen to the first episode with Meg Robichaud now.
Just a brief sketch. I found the more human concept behind the lock screen by @Louie Mantia quite exciting, and thought I'd try extending it to a simple schedule application.
Each item gives you a very brief idea what each event is about, and dynamically changes based on factors such as event cancellation ("Tony cancelled lunch.") I thought it would be exciting to also have information scrapped about the contact included in the event description. As in the example above, upcoming birthdays could be displayed, or it will notify you if the person has recently changed jobs.
This information could be scraped from services linked to the phone such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Imagine having dinner planned with a significant other, and upon tapping the event you realize that it is their birthday! Well, you are probably in trouble regardless, but it might help you to do something up last minute.
Didn't spend a whole ton of time on this, so it is probably pretty rough around the edges, but I think the concepts are exciting.
