SO IT'S FINALLY HERE. My NYCFC crest concept, I hope you guys tear it to shreds! Let me know what you think! See attached for better view.

Terrible. Just kidding man I think it's great I love the shadowing throughout. The one thing I would mention is possibly beefing up the bridge, having less vertical bars and have them be a bit thicker. That way they wouldn't get lost if say the logo was stitched in a hat or shown smaller.
Awesome work Pete! Loving the overall structure of this, the top part especially. Two small things:
1. I believe the inaugural season will be 2015.
2. I'm sort of seeing a fried egg in the center there (yellow circle in white oval), but maybe that's just because I'm hungry. Try adjusting the sun, perhaps?
Keep up the good work.
Dig the initial design. I'd agree with maybe making the bridge a bit larger. One thing I might try is turning the gold circle into a soccer ball :-)
Gorgeous! Great work Pete, it's been fun to watch you come along as a designer. Definitely agree with some of the other comments before. For the sun, maybe make some actual radials come off of it, extending down below the bridge? Could be a nice way to tie it all together. Love the Chrysler building as the crest holding shape!
I agree with that comment on CC forum, the bridge is a bit San Fran :) but the art deco Chrysler top is beautiful. Maybe bringing the bottom part more up, a lot of white space in the BG right now in my opinion :)

Amazing work!! The Chrysler building as a shape of the crest is brilliant. My two cents would be the same as @Tomislav, It feels more like a SF bridge. Also, the sun feels a bit lonely, maybe rays (like @Brian Gundell suggested) or clouds to create some sort of atmosphere? Other than that this is incredible. Thanks for sharing!

Took some criticism to the design, possibly over-did the Brooklyn Bridge, but it's all about trying to see what you can make look good. Before you ask - the sun.

Beautiful! I love this! Catches feeling of NY really well. Only suggestion I have would be implementing a Soccer ball or something relating to the sport for the non-aficinados
