Made an attempt to read the Game of Thrones books during labour day. Easily got distracted by my computer and I ended up designing an e-books application.

nice work ) i realy like it )
IMHO, just leave out the right column (actually you could do that in all of the stuff you did lately). Three columns is one column too much anyway and in this context, it doesn't add anything for me. I don't imagine a "letterboxd" for books like something with real time communication.
sexy pixels my man!
@Christoph Bach I don't agree here, I created something that I wanted. I can assure you while reading that you won't be interrupted with a constantly notifying sound.
I want a forum where you can discuss books and also read books.
I love the right column. I just don't understand what the discussion is for? I was expecting a discussion about the book you were currently reading. Where do you change discussions? Is that the 'Fantasy' drop down?
Overall it looks gorgeous! Great work.
That "black" is too dark!
@Piper Lawson Should've probably shown the dropdown there. It includes all different book genres but also "Current book".
Had the same question as @Piper Lawson. Also, I can't tell which one is active: Newest or Popularity.
@Kyle Decker Popularity since it is the one with the selected color.
nice work bro!
Nice touch with the letters in the green back.
Awesome work man, love it.
Cool app, Victor! Loving this one along with the others.
@Victor Erixon Would have guessed the opposite, since "Newest" looks like text and "Popularity" looks like a link. Either way, could use some clarifying, I think.
@Kyle Decker Might be correct, regardless this is a behavior you would understand when you would've started using the application itself, I hope.
Have you designed the same app three times with different middle bits?
@Gui Seiz I have used the same style with some variations for three totally different apps, we all might fall into different styles we enjoy and these are not client work so it is purely to satisfy my needs visually and with functionality.
Personally I'm not a fan of the instapaper-ish thing behind the logo. I think it would look cleaner if you dropped it
really diggin this, great job!
Hah, I actually designed a bookshelf UI that's exactly like this one.
That typeface looks crazy familiar but I'm not sure — is that Proxima Nova?
@Kevin Lee Whitney :)
