'Less Than Zero' by Bret Easton Ellis – Cover Concept - v02
I re-read Bret Easton Ellis' dark tale Less Than Zero last year and it inspired me to try my hand at creating a few contemporary versions of the cover.
This version was inspired by the gross idealism of perfection in the book. A lot of the book deals with the idea of trying to be something your not and suffering because of it. The photo used is meant to represent the idea of a slick, false veneer, with something lurking just below.
