Love it! I always struggle with the vertical spacing in designs like this. You've handled it really well.
There is the impulse to vertically center in the pink area, but with such a heavy second line of text (August), you need to actually adjust it vertically so that it "feels" balanced, even if it's not. I think you could knock that two-line text segment down a few pixels still, but it's pretty close.

@Chris; Thanks for your comment. The second line of text varies a lot in length; it needs to equally accommodate short months like "May" and long ones like "September." Tough to see in one small shot, but the balance actually works itself out in the average. Designing is hard, and designing templates is even harder!

Love the colors! I agree with Chris Meeks, you could knock the two-line text a few pixels down :)
