Unfortunately this got taken down before, for...ahem...obvious reasons. Hopefully I've covered enough up this time. Check out the full illustration and follow me on Tumblr! http://mikuloctopus.tumblr.com/

And still impressive @Michael Anderson!
Superb! @Michael Anderson
Really convincing… anatomy. No seriously, you really got the «Correctly applying the rules of anatomy to a stylistic illustration»-thing right. But what I like the most are the wrinkles on she shirt. Did you draw the shirt from reference or just from imagination?
Impressive work, man. I may just have to start drinking Pepsi.
@Rino Wenger thank you! Yeah, usually I need a work from reference when drawing clothing. This is one of the rare times I was able to do it straight from imagination. :)
Well that's when those figure drawing studies seem to pay off. Did you take a course on those? I'm thinking about taking a figure drawing course, since I really could use some practice in this.
I wish Dribbble was a little more consistent with their policy. If I remember right, your shot wasn't nude, but there are boobs all over the place.
@Rino Wenger Honestly, I've taken one figure studies class in college, but the bulk of my learning comes from drawing on my own time. Finding images online of models, and just drawing and figuring out how everything relates to each other. It might be beneficial to learn the basics of figure drawing, I definitely would never discourage taking classes, but really you'll find you learn the most by practicing a lot.
@John Williams I hear that! I'm hoping it doesn't stem from people reporting my shots. I never try to be offensive with my work. =)
... Hmn... I don't see why it did... it was just some cleavage.
Whenever I get caught looking at porn, I just tell my wife it's figure studies.
@Michael, I really think you should make an iphone wallpaper out of this imho
Ooookay ... don't understand why this was taken down, but I'll just go with it.
Anyway, great illustration! Keep it up!
@Michael Anderson Alright, thank you for the insight! Where do you find models? The drawing script?
