So I was looking at the painting last night and today and feeling really shitty about it. I realized I had so many things wrong that I had to go back in and make some adjustments. I think this looks much better and more classical like I had wanted. Not perfect, but improved. I am sure I will had it tomorrow

Better definition in the cheeks and eye sockets. Higher contrast. Good work.

So I just thought I would rebound the final final final version of this. I appreciate everyone taking a look. I ended up toning things down and gold leafing it and using a gold pen and ink nibs to finish of the typography and finer details. Managed to even sell it last night at my gallery show! Grateful for the looks and feedback!
