Refining a wordmark concept for Malea. Just one out of a handful of other hand-lettered concepts presented...

what a beauty!
Lovely shapes you have made.
Really solid while being elegant...that's a tough balance but you did it.
@Brian Zeiders Exactly what I'm trying to accomplish. Thanks for putting it into one solid sentence :)
The very left hand part of the image seems to have a 20px duplicate or something like that.
Anyhow, this really looks amazing, it has a nice flow to it.
@Andreas Ubbe Dall Hmm.. you're right. Never noticed. Guess because I just threw the screengrab in a mockup and never looked back :)
Looks very strong and elegant @Gert van Duinen However, will I be right, if I say the spacing between "a" and "l" is more then rest of the letters? But otherwise, I just loved the mark ;)
Beautiful lettering, especially those a's. :)
@Vimal Yes, you're probably right, as I've yet paid much attention to spacing tbh. Which would be a major part of the next phase when the client gives the green light on the general look & feel of this particular wordmark. Thank you for mentioning though...
All the best bro @Gert van Duinen
nice smooth curves, lovely lettering! simple but recoginizable, great work!
Looks real great!
lookin good Gert!
@Gert van Duinen I love it, but I'd flip the top of the 'L', making it look left instead of right. Have you already tried that?
nice work Gert, great shapes!
@Stefano Slomma Will be considered as the next iteration when I got a green light from the client... :)
Gorgeous curves for a semi serif style. I agree with @Stefano Slomma. I do however really like the openness of the "a" and "e" characters.
keyboard shortcuts: ← previous shot → next shot L or F like
