    Don't waste your first shot.
    After receiving a long awaited Dribbble invite, think about what you want to share as your first shot. Debut shots get lots of exposure, so make it count!

    @Roy Veldkamp I think you and others forget that it takes time to make those 'thank you' first shots and it can also be a reflection of their style and gratitude.

    People also seem to forget how nice it is to hear a 'thank you'. Don't forget that. Opportunities are endless here on dribbble and that one invite you get could change your life. Absolutely you should say Thank you.

    Welcome to dribbble. ☻

    @Jennifer Janosi I really think you are right. Dribbble has lots of opportunities for people to show their talent AND express themselves. Some "thank you" shots are really awesome!

    But in my opinion new dribbblers are not totally aware of the fact they can only get one shot to the debut page.

    Maybe first show off, then say thank you?

    @Tanveer - you´re funny...

    @Roy & @Jennifer - that really is one kind of thing. 4 of my 5 draftees so far did not even say thank you or kept in touch in sort of a way. Not that I want to be praised for inviting someone, but I feel used in a bad way. So I think it´s great to say thank you - maybe not by using the debut shot, there are other ways to do so... to sad many people on dribbble are just showing of without even paying attention to others or to the feedback they get. Therefore I´m thankful for this shot Roy.
