Book Shopping Screens

Digitalizing a very big physical books store is no easy feat. We approached this project with careful consideration of the actual customers—who buy physical books most of the time—but they still want a more convenient way to do it, especially with the situation going on.

We decided to be a little bit more playful but sill keep that clean and sophisticated look with the UI, so book covers take the main attention throughout the experience.

That was particularly a challenge while designing the UI, since most book covers have a fixed / standard size. I had to explore lots of iterations with these components that house actual books to be flexible but still look good.
