Got my Stripe account setup. It was really bugging me that the app wasn't fluid. I tried to fight the urge to redesign it, but I caved.

Alright, some constructive feedback - much of the text is illegibly light. The icons without text don't say anything to a new (or perhaps even existing) users.
From the aspect of fluidness, you could have kept the style and brand of Stripe and played around in those constraints, which could've been a really interesting approach. Instead, this feels like another attempt to take and convert a popular site to match the current design trend.
@Kuldar Cheers for the feedback. I agree on the text, far too light.
The nav icons would have tooltips on hover. Full text labels on mobile and tablet devices.
Without opening a can of worms, I don't think flat design is a trend. I think a lot of brands could benefit from trimming back the superfluous fluff and focusing more on the content.
Having tooltip on hover feels more like an excuse to use icon-only approach, instead of going for most usable solution. Although I agree, it looks fancier on first glance.
@Kuldar Not an excuse, more of a fallback. I guess it comes down to whether you favor new or existing users. I'd prefer icons to text as an existing user.
I think it makes sense to favor existing users, since it's unlikely that this particular issue would prevent a new user from on-boarding.
Can Stripe accept euros now? Or is that just for the mockup?
@Sacha Greif Yep, they launched in Ireland a couple of months ago. They're in Canada, France, Netherlands, UK, Ireland and US now I believe.
When displaying a value in euros, you need to put the euro symbol after the number, not before.
Interesting. How come the dropshadow on the buttons is going upwards?
@Eli Schiff I believe they are wells. The button to the left of them is a button.
@Kim Røen Thanks for the clarification. There are still problems with the buttons/wells:
1. the dropshadows are both square, while the buttons and wells are roundrects. This isn't consistent.
2. The buttons and wells are effectively undifferentiated.
More importantly, there are serious issues with the interface on a fundamental level: Because of the flat representation, the interface has almost zero affordance and what affordance exists is extremely subtle. The typography is almost illegible in many places because it lacks contrast. The user has to click and hover over everything to find out it's function, rather than it being obvious by a dimensional representation. The redesign is extremely limiting.
On the other hand, this design absolutely follows the principles of the flat design movement to a T, so I'll give it that.
Hey, i will little bit agree with the @Eli Schiff here.
1) Buttons kinda seems, like a input fields since in the flat era we use the solid inner shadow to add (3D). Yeah sounds wierd. So my suggestions is to get rid of it or move it to the bottom.
2) Icons they are too incosintent. Combination of outlines/solid glyphs doesnt work for me. And also that last icon in the top bar is not really well executed.
I would like to see more, keep going! :)
nice work, agree with comments about contrast and to me it seems like the icons need some more work, both in unifying the look as well as explanation. i do see a lot of these dashboards and think 'generic flat dashboard' which i think is kinda sad
