New brand icon for Timestamp: a time tracking app.

looks like a face : )
Timetracking cyclops from Neptune. :)
@Edu Torres It's for humans :)
Human face. Location. Time. Checkin. Brilliant!
Love the concept Gert! Is the human face meant to be there or we're you just going for the stamp handle look. I just wonder what it would look like if you used a round handle vs the oblong one in the current. If you went round, I think the idea of the clock would stand out more. I guess it all depends on what messages your illustrating as the main focus. Like where it's going man!
Awesome work, Gert, as usual! ;)
Really like when people post those constructions here - good work! :)
@Jared Granger Good points Jared. Though most were considered already during an extensive iterative process for this project. The client wants something interesting and less obvious, which was also part of the brief. Maybe I will post a bunch leftover-concepts, both simple and complex iterations containing round clock-handles as well..
I figured that idea had already been thought through. Depending on strategy and what the client wants, it's always hard to tell what has happened behind the scenes on dribbble. I think that this definitely fits the bill with knowing those objectives in mind. Great work brother!
@Gert van Duinen Nice Job.. Keep Going!
This is awesome, great job!
@Jord Riekwel I once had a friend who had grown so tall, he didn't even notice my sexually hyperactive parrot sitting on top of the world staring at his urinary excretion and used to call him 'tall tale of heroic exploits'.
@Jared Granger Gotta obey demands of kings, who happens to be my clientele :)
Strong concept and lovely construction. Killing it as usual, dude!
Great concept. Excellent execution.
This is awesome Gert, very well done :)
Nice, all the messages in one icon.
But I think I like the radius of the clock a little bigger in the corner.
On the inside there is a 90º corner, witch is to hard in the rounded pin/location part.
@Patrick Loonstra Check 1st one at http://www.idgram.com/
Not sure about the clock radius, as the overall proportion of the icon is square. Though, still wondering why shots on Dribbble can't be replaced/edited.
Heck yes. Good stuff!
Yes! this is cool Gert!

@Gert van Duinen NICE. Another symbolic, power-packed mark!
Tell me if I'm wrong, but so far, I'm detecting all of these in this little mark:
- rubber stamp (obviously)
- clock (also, obviously)
- human bust (head/shoulders)
- location pin (probably unintentional, BUT I SEE IT)
- light bulb (also probably unintentional, but accurate timekeeping is a GOOD IDEA)
- allen wrench/hex key (relates to assembling the perfect timesheet? MAYBE?? MAYBEEE???)
I'm sure I'm missing other symbolism, but my brain just exploded. Sorry.
