Since Apple's Dev Center is down and I'm not able to do any dev work as planned, here's a design of something I started working on a couple of weeks ago. It's a design for an app that can be used to easily find the most beautiful places on earth while traveling.
The button for Paris has the pressed state. On the bottom there's a toggle to open the map. (Not sure if the bottom still is a good location since iOS7 added the 'swipe from bottom' gesture for the Control Center.)
Attached are some real pixels.
Will be working on this one every once in a while.

I love those colors! Very nice design! But maybe the topbar doesnt match the colors from the content? Don't know, could be just me :)
Nice. Agree with Raquel though. While the colors do not need to be the same as the topbar, these seem to be completely different tones. What do the colors mean? Also, what's the difference between an item in hexagons and an item in a circle? Other than that it looks very slick, keep it up man.
@Raquel Román Parrado and @Marvin Kennis
Thanks for the feedback! Not sure if I agree on the navbar color though, I do like it together with those other colors :) Might be me though :p
@Marvin as for the hexagons/circles, that's experimental, I'm trying to figure out which shape I like more and at the same time is still functional as a button. The end product will probably not have both :)
Also, there was a mistake in the bar with the 'Locations' and 'Wishlist' buttons. The background was supposed to be white, but in the shot it is a bit gray. I've updated the attachment.
Great work :)
Nice! Yeah the colurs are different, but it kinda works for me ;)
