Afraid that COVID-19 school shutdowns will make their kids fall behind, some affluent parents in America are paying up to $60 USD an hour for professional homeschooling.

The trend illustrates how the pandemic is widening the gap between rich and poor students in American schools. For lower-income families, even getting internet access to do school work at home can be a struggle.

We need to ensure free, high speed internet for every family. Children don't deserve to get left behind simply because they were born in the wrong tax bracket.
