Illustrating intricacies

Our conceptual illustrations go beyond basic iconography to express big-picture ideas. And as you can imagine, we often need to illustrate some hard-to-visualize technology concepts at Oracle. In the Redwood design system, we have to do this simply and in an iconic way that sticks in viewers' minds. Taking a conceptual approach to visualize intricate topics like database, infrastructure, and autonomous might test our illustrators, but they're always up for the challenge.
