Snapshot of the side bar on my current photo sharing project. Trying to keep it as clean as possible! Wasn't sure about using multiple colours for the icons but after seeing @Martin David pinrterest project I decided to give it a go!

Would love any feedback!

The sidemenu was something i was struggling with when designing for iOS7.. how does the status bar work? It keeps the color of your "dashboard"? It's so strange.. I was trying something like this http://cl.ly/image/0c0h1t1S1C1Y but iOS7 probably won't work that way :p
Another awesome design Ben!! The search bar really sticks out to me, did you try making it the same colour as the active state "Find Friends" button. Just a thought!
Whoa, killer colour palette
Really nice design, love the colours!
@Raquel Román Parrado yes I wasn't 100% sure how it would work aswel so I designed it how I would on ios 6 for now as I can always change it later on. Your way does look a hell of a lot smarter though, lets hope its possible!
@Alex Byrne yes thats a great idea thank you! Currently all the search bars on the app are white just to give consistency for the user but I will try it out, see how it looks!
@Ben Dunn yep exactly my thoughts.. I designed it this way but i'll probably have to tweek it afterwards when iOS7 finally gets through.
I also doesnt really know how the bars will work on iOS7 but the I like the concept of @Raquel Román Parrado too.
But I think we shouldnt think too much about it atm, because I think apple might change some details for the final version of ios7.
Great design here! I think the colored icons also work great on a dark bg.
@Martin David thanks man! It was originally a white transparent slider that came over the current screen but switched to this and I'm glad we did now! The Tweepr work is looking prime well played. Looking forward to seeing some more screens!
Maybe reduce border width on avatar? Everything else is "skinnier".
@Gabriel Tomescu great call! Will check it now many thanks!
This looks rad! With regard to the status bar, I believe the OS does the math and decides if you get white or black based on the background color so I don't know that you'd have any troubles with this design. I wouldn't be surprised if you could define one or the other at some point anyway.
@Aaron cheers man and thanks for the knowledge!
@Raquel Román Parrado What you've done is actually how it would work. The status bar essentially floats on top of the view in iOS7. You can set the colour manually to white or black or let the app decide based on the colour of the navbar controller set.
For me its to much of the colors, but everything else seems clean :)
For me the colours work perfectly - loving the style
@Josh Overton glad you like the colours, took a fair bit of time deciding what to use!
Back with a bang.
@Oleg Stirbu haa many thanks man!
