Proposal for Croatian Association of Masters of Civil Engineering of University in Zagreb, known as Alumni.

Graduation cap showing steel construction or scheme for static calculation. Tassel is in shape of arrow which represents the force in static, mehanic and generally in physics.

Similar schemes are well known and often seen in Civil Engineering and former students won't forget sweating through calculating them ;)
All fields of Civil Engineering have to deal with static so it seemed like logical solution.

Hey, @Luka Balic. I'm way late to the conversation here, but, for what it's worth, I dig this. And I really appreciate your offering context and rationale.

I think your reasoning is sound and the graphic solution in this mark is elegant enough to lend itself to all kinds of versatile brand expressions for the organization. It also seems like a mark that will resonate with students (working toward a goal) and alumni (thinking back on the work behind their accomplishments). So I can see it worn with pride on t-shirts and sweatshirts. It's adoptable and ownable by its intended audience.

Also, from a strait aesthetic perspective, I think the mark just plain rocks. Easy to look at. Easy to understand and beckons visual exploration as you get swept up in its lines.

So was it accepted, or is this still a work in progress?

My pleasure, and I hope to see more of this mark as it evolves toward its final state. Really nice work.
