Alchemy — Earth

As Empedocles stated, there are four basilar elements that structure the World: earth, water, fire and air.

Plato associated each of his five perfect solids with a corrispective element. The first one, earth, is associated to the cube (or hexahedron), a solid made of 6 equilateral squared faces. The fifth element (apart of being a movie) is "aether", the quintessence, the material of which is made what's not earthly.
