They Live - It's time to kickass & play Video Games

So here it is, my first 'finished' Wacom illustration. I chose the legend, Roddy Piper, in his portrayal of John Nada from the cult classic movie They Live and then stylised it for us retro gamers. This started off as a more flash type idea and evolved into this monochrome-esque retro piece. Visual influences for the concept include the Nintendo virtual boy and of course the magnificent work of James White @signalnoise and Ireland's own @lazersteak
