Everybody is redesigning iOs 7 right now. Like any other designer I have my considerations and suggestions, so I decided to create my own version as well.
Different from some redesigns, I designed my home screen as it is right now, with the Apps I use the most. I was definitely not motivated to redesign the Stocks icon for example.
I obviously changed the looks of icons and UI, but I also made 2 little usability changes:
1) When an app is on the dock, it supposed to be a frequent used app, right? How about hiding its name to the user who are already very familiar with it? I thought it could be a charming little big detail, what do you think?
2) The Control Center has interaction types (activate and deactivate functions, control the intensity of the brightness and volume, control what is playing and lunching apps). I reorganised it, putting the flashlight as a function, Airdrop as an app lunch and only show the Airplay when available, beside the music controls for example. I believe this makes more sense, what do you think?
See the attachments for details and give me your thoughts! ;)
