@Jon Stapp | atomicvibe - I totally agree with you Jon, and I actually made that and presented it in competition as one possible variation. I like this better, but I thought people (who are not designers) won't figure out the shadow this way, not sure ... but it's up to jury now :)

In this version, the cloud also looks like comic "speaking" cloud, pointing from cross - meaning that Jesus, God is speaking to us through this Catholic Youth Meeting.
I like those lucky accidents :)
