It is always a pleasure working for the Bornean Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation!
The orangutan is Asia’s only great ape found on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. Today, orangutans are threatened by extinction due to habitat loss and hunting. It is estimated that the Bornean orangutan population has decreased by more than 80% within the last three generations. Which is why it's even more important to step in now and show support for the work NGOs like the BOSF are doing, conserving the Bornean orangutan and its habitat.
I have been working with this great team for several years now, developing exciting web products for their international campaigns. The #OrangutanFreedom website went online in 2019, offering visitors the chance to win a one-of-a-kind experience, a one week trip to Borneo, watching an orangutan getting released into the wild.
My role in this was the development of a cross-channel campaign design, webpage design as well as the publication and maintaining of the website throughout the campaign duration.
